Inside look: Brand Your Own Biz

I created a FREE email course a few months ago called Brand Your Own Biz. It’s a 5-day email course that helps you brand your business yourself. It comes with 2 free workbooks that you can download and print to follow along with the course.

Define your business goals in Brand Your Own Biz

At the start of Brand Your Own Biz, I make you define your business goals. If you don’t know anything about your business and what you want to do then it’s kinda pointless to start branding.

While defining your goals in Brand You Own Biz, you will:

  • Create your mission statement.
  • Write out your business goals.
  • Choose adjectives that define your brand.

Brand Your Own Biz

First, get to know your audience.

In this section, you’ll create your target audience. This is the most important step in any branding project. If you don’t know who you want to attract, then you won’t know how to brand your business or how to market to your target audience.

Next, do the research.

In this section of Brand Your Own Biz, you’re going to start thinking about your logo, colors, and fonts. You’ll also try to start researching images that will fit your brand.

Finally, design your brand.

This is the last part of the Brand Your Own Biz email course. You will start designing your logo and choosing your brand colors and fonts.

Even if you aren’t interested in creating your brand yourself, this is a good way to start thinking about branding and who you’re trying to attract. Knowing your audience and knowing your brand are important factors that you need to know before you hire a designer.
